All that matters is who really can vouch for you.



For those of you not well versed in Scottish-American relations, we don't speak the same English. You see, I come from "Seadduhl" according to me and "See-ah-ttle" according to Gordon. This is the type of certification that matters. It's trust. I would recommend Gordon as a developer for Java and iPhone apps on pain of immediate dismissal of my job if there was a problem. That's how much I believe in him. Do any other certifications come close? What do you want when you are asking for a tester? Someone you KNOW WILL do the job and have long term value or someone who can do the job and you have no idea if they will? Think about it.
