This blog entry on software quality is one of the most amazing I've read recently.
Whenever I feel alone, or like I simply can not win the losing battle in defense of creative human testing, something like this comes along to provide me with hope. Yes! Smart people who see the value of testing beyond what you can programmatically verify.

publicity whore. Aren't we all? Fully agree with you that a well trained, creative Tester is more efficient than automation at this current date: 23/02/2010.
Verification of the process: detailed notes, reports and well structured + documented ET.Are you afraid that Testers will be replaced by software? Taking that a couple steps
further I would argue that sooner or later all human activity will be automated and encoded. Welcome to the future.
