Invite the Mad Hatter to Requirements Meetings
"Take some more tea," the March Hare said to Alice, very earnestly.
"I've had nothing yet," Alice replied in an offended tone, "so I can't take more."
"You mean you can't take less," said the Hatter: "It's very easy to take more than nothing." Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
I'd say that it is very easy to do more than nothing and very difficult to do the right amount without considering the results. Taking one cup of tea vs. say about 15 pots of tea. How much should we do now is a good question. Is taking no tea and leaving the party a good option?

The right amount: I tend to overkill. Very intense. Always consider the results: results driven. At the end of the day it's about shipping code, finding and fixing bugs, discovering breaking changes... It just feels good to go the extra mile or push oneself to the limit, exhaustion? What sports do you do?
In that context taking no tea and leaving the party is a good option. Got to know when to push it and when to back off.
